This week we will be working on these things:
Reading
The students will be reading a biographical text about an astronaut. They will be determining
importance by finding the main idea and details.
Grammar
The students will be working on past tense vs. future tense.
Spelling
Our words this week are r- controlled u's and i's.
Math
This week the students finish their work on division. We will be using our Smartboard during some of
our learning activities! There will be a test next week before Thanksgiving Break.
Science
We are concentrating on S.S. for the time being.
Social Studies
We are learning about the Native Americans of North America. The students have chosen a tribe to research in depth,
then they will use that information to make a brochure in technology class.
Religion
The
class will be looking for words to describe the greatness of God.
